What car did I see (triumph)?

I was driving the other day and I spotted an odd looking car, it had the name "triumph" on the back, but it didn't look like the everyday spitfire or anything like that... It looked somewhat like a pontiac fiero or a toyota MR2, but maybe front engine... The car was red, the back window was vertical, and the nose was slanting like a wedge. The styling was on par to that of a car from the 80's. Any help would be great.
