Starting RC Future Flying! Help!?

If you want to be a good pilot do not start with this thing. I tried to teach myself years ago (late 60s) with various models, none really suitable and failed. Tried again 20 years ago but this time joined a good club with experienced pilots and a good teaching regime. Now fly aerobatic aircraft with no problems. Started with a high wing trainer and learned on that, the odd hard landing when learning but since then NO crashes. You will turn more heads learning to fly properly and safely than flying around like a demented bird narrowly avoiding crashing until you do. That will put you off.
