How is the west coast of Florida to retire to? Any suggestions to which areas are best?

We love beach, sand and sun. We want a townhouse because my husband has a Harley. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If you know of actual sites, please put them in your answer. We're still young (early 60) but obviously we act younger, (harley) and we love to cruise. We need a CLEAN area and the town home could have 2-3 bedrooms, definite garage at least 2 baths and a beautiful pool....anyone out there with info???
