Im turning 18 soon and im looking to buy my first car, i really want a classic convertible, i have 3000.?

i have saved up 3000 for a car, i would love a old classic convertible, something like a triumph spitfire, any other ideas, it has to have a relatively small engine due to insurance costs. also i live in england.
