How to stop my Christian parents tithing so they don't lose their house?

This is a really sad situation. Would it be possible for you to talk with their pastor? Unless their pastor is a monster, he or she will agree that your folks need to hold onto their money. Perhaps if they heard it directly from the pastor, it would make a difference. They may listen to the pastor when they won't listen to anyone else.
